Along the way…

Greetings! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Donna. I am a 50-something mother of 3 grown children and one adolescent-stuck husband whom I wouldn’t trade for the world…well, most of the time.

I am a registered nurse no longer employed (by choice). I used to work in the emergency dept. in a local hospital. Those days made for some great stories but trust me, my race-car driver son; my Physician Asst. daughter married to her firefighter husband; my med. school daughter; and my psychotic pets make for some great stories as well. I get most of my material, however, from my husband who never ceases to amaze me with the crazy stunts he pulls.

I am a HGTV (Home and Garden Television) junkie so consequently I am always doing some home improvement project. I would have to declare that as one of my hobbies. I also enjoy flower arranging, occasional scrapbooking, watching my son race, party planning, hanging out at the lake, shopping and lunch with my daughters, travelling, snorkeling, shell collecting, and photography.

I will do my best to update this blog at least weekly but check back often for random thoughts, rants, and raves from a menopausal time bomb such as myself. Leave a comment too. I would love to hear from you.
